What We Offer

We offer recreational and competitive classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Jumps/Turns/Leaps, Stretch/Conditioning, and more!

Our students are taught by committed and talented professionals who love the art of dance.

Our competitive program is designed for students who want additional performance opportunities, greater challenges, more intense training, and a greater team atmosphere. We have multiple groups based on age and level, and we train & compete in many styles of dance.

About

Our Studio

Angie Hahn's Academy of Dance, also known as AHAD, has offered premier dance instruction across many styles for over 50 years. We have a reputation for providing all students with the highest quality training while maintaining a positive and familial environment.

In addition to training, we allow our dancers to participate in outside performance opportunities, such as our annual Nutcracker Ballet, our collaboration with the Livonia Symphony Orchestra, our competitive dance company, and our annual end-of-year recital performance.

Current and former AHAD dancers have been accepted to nationally acclaimed programs from Juilliard, ABT, Joffrey Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, and the Boston Ballet. We also have alumni who have performed on Broadway & in ballet companies across the US.

The faculty at AHAD is comprised of senior staff with more than 20 years of teaching & performing experience. Our younger staff members are trained and mentored by senior staff, and many of our students have furthered their dance studies by obtaining degrees in dance and have taught professionally in New York, throughout the Metro area, and at the university level.

Most importantly,  we pride ourselves as a studio that focuses on improving self esteem, teaching responsibility, and giving all dancers a safe space to be themselves.
